To deepen your self awareness and mind-body connection by understanding how to nourish yourself and heal your health, this workshop can help you develop an intuition for your best choices that goes far beyond counting nutrients, calories, and exercise intensity and duration. Improve your strength, flexibility and resilience on and off the mat with a nuanced approach to your unique mind-body type, and allow your daily choices to be guided by ancient wisdom and deep personal compassion.
A homemade vegetarian/vegan Ayurvedic lunch will be served, with some fun experiments on mindful eating and conscious digestion. We will enjoy a sound bath as a sensory experience to support the digestive process. All participants will also receive an e-book with an introduction to Ayurvedic concepts such as the five elements, food combinations, using spices and seasonal recipes.
